Principal Duties:
- Examine customer needs, conduct research and due diligence, and offer suggestions for creating analytics solutions with a cybersecurity focus.
- Work together as a team to develop and deploy on-premises or cloud-based analytics solutions, then showcase them to clients and upper management.
- Create API scripts to automate the extraction of data from contextual and cybersecurity sources.
- Write ETL scripts and create dashboards and reports for end users based on personas.
- Utilize best practices for data management and analytics to help clients improve their cybersecurity posture while tracking and reducing cybersecurity threats.
- To guarantee efficient project execution and client satisfaction, coordinate with clients and engagement teams.
- Manage analytics programs, making sure they run consistently and that data is refreshed on a regular basis.
- Assist with project management tasks and help junior team members get trained and coached.
Eligibility requirements :
- include prior experience developing data analytics solutions with on-premises technologies and cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- strong knowledge of cloud environments and architecture.
- programming expertise with an emphasis on analytics and data management.
- proficiency in Python and other scripting languages as a developer.
- Understanding cloud data migration procedures, including how to create alternatives for importing data into multiple databases from different sources.
- practical knowledge of at least one cloud-based analytics or data management product, such as Redshift, Athena, BigQuery, Data Lake, or Databricks.
- Programming abilities with tools like SAS and SQL, as well as experience managing and integrating huge databases.
- conceptual knowledge of data lakes, data marts, OLAP, and data warehousing.
- understanding of the principles of data administration, such as data governance, data lineage, and data quality.
- ability to use BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight to generate reports and create dashboards.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience transforming data using ETL tools like Ab Initio, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or AWS Glue.
- It is beneficial to have certifications in analytics-related fields, such as developer, architect, or AWS, Azure, or GCP specialist.
- It is advantageous to have prior expertise dealing with cybersecurity databases.
