Key Duties:
- As a Solutions Designer, assist the Building Automation Sales Group with Building Automation Systems (BAS) that regulate vital building elements such as HVAC.
- Provide the sales team with comprehensive sales forecasts that address project take-offs, risk analysis, scope of work creation, and specification interpretation.
- Provide final ideas and cost estimates as the main outcomes.
- Give the sales executive the tools they need to prioritize bidding strategies, increase engagement, and improve customer prospecting.
- Oversee and direct the development of prompt cost estimates and proposals, with duties encompassing:
- Quantifying equipment and device counts from bid documents by conducting take-offs.
- Determining point counts, materials, and required control devices by interpreting operational sequences.
- examining specs to make sure they comply with codes and labor restrictions.
- Recognizing requirements for third-party integrations and comprehending Master Format Specifications.
- Making riser diagrams for system networks.
- creating the scope of work (SOW) and bill of materials (BOM).
- creating technical bid packages for subcontractors and coordinating strategy with the sales executive and procurement team.
- acquiring quotations for extra goods and services from outside suppliers.
- creating the final proposals for clients.
- Work together and communicate efficiently with a remote operations and sales staff in various time zones.
- Make effective use of bid, quotation, and design tools tailored to your firm.

Eligibility Requirement:
- Must have a mechanical or electrical engineering diploma.
- Proven proficiency with BAS components, such as controllers, sensors, output devices, communication protocols, and user interfaces, is preferred, as is prior experience with building automation systems (BAS).
